Meet the Marietta Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Marietta
Servo Garage Doors Marietta has served Cobb County since 2015, and the crew working your door today is the same group that worked it last year. That’s not an accident. We keep our team small on purpose, four people who know Marietta’s neighborhoods, its older East Cobb homes with their quirky header clearances, and its newer subdivisions west of Barrett Parkway. What unites us is boring to say but rare to find: we write the price down before we touch a tool, and we photograph what we found before we quote a replacement. Everything else follows from that.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner
Marcus founded Servo Garage Doors Marietta in 2015 after nine years running service routes for a national door company. He still carries a spring scale in the truck and will measure a torsion spring’s wire diameter before quoting it, out of habit and out of principle. He wrote Clause 1 of The Haven Standard, the one that requires a flat written price before any work starts, after watching a homeowner in Sandy Springs get handed an invoice 40% above a verbal estimate. Marcus is licensed and insured, and he’s the one who answers when you call about the Free Second Opinion offer. His dry line after a long week: “A door that opens quietly is a door nobody thinks about. That’s the job.”
Dewayne R., Lead Technician
Dewayne has been with Servo since 2017 and handles most torsion spring replacements, cable reroutes, and full door resets across Marietta, Smyrna, and Kennesaw. He’s factory-trained on LiftMaster and Chamberlain openers and has rebuilt enough Wayne Dalton torque-master systems that he can identify the failure point by sound alone, usually before the door comes all the way up. Dewayne is the team’s stickler for the photo record. Every visit he closes includes a documented photo record of the failed part, the replacement part, and the finished install, emailed before he pulls out of the driveway. He grew up in Powder Springs and still calls it “the Springs” when he’s giving directions.
Lena M., Senior Installer
Lena leads new door installations and full track replacements for the team, which means she’s the one measuring reveal, setting flag brackets, and leveling sections on doors from Clopay, Amarr, and Raynor. She’s been installing doors for eleven years, seven of them with Servo, and she’s the person on the crew who will tell you honestly whether your 22-year-old door is worth repairing or whether the rust at the bottom panels is structural. Lena keeps the team’s van inventory organized by brand and part number, which is why the most common springs for East Cobb’s older doors usually ride in the van instead of waiting on a parts order. Her human detail: she names every garage door she installs. Quietly. After the customer signs the record.
Sam T., Apprentice
Sam joined the team in early 2025 and spends most days alongside Dewayne or Lena, learning wire sizing, spring winding discipline, and the safe way to work near a tensioned torsion assembly. He handles a lot of the pre-call prep, checking the work order, pulling the likely parts, and staging the photo record before the job starts. Sam is the one who texts the customer an on-the-way notice with the named technician, a habit the whole team adopted after the winter storm in January 2024, when a dozen doors froze to their jambs in one weekend. He’s a Marietta native, went to Sprayberry, and will geek out about limit switch adjustments if you let him, which we try not to.
One Standard, Every Job

Four people, one rulebook. The Haven Standard is the reason a Servo visit looks the same whether it’s Dewayne changing a broken spring in Kennesaw or Lena hanging a new Amarr door in East Cobb. Clause 1 means a written price and a written scope before any work starts, no verbal drift, no surprise line items. Clause 4 means the failed part gets photographed before anyone quotes a replacement, and the customer gets that photo record along with the final documentation. The 365-Day Done Right Promise sits behind all of it. If something isn’t right, we make it right. That promise isn’t a poster. It’s the reason the crew’s phone number is on the invoice, and the reason the owner’s name is on this page.
